Wearing the Trend: Bright Red for Fae and Her Subtypes

Bright Red for Fae

Bright red isn’t an emphasized color for Fae base, but is found in many of her subtypes.

Fairy-as-subtype will enjoy bright red dispersed in sheer materials or as a base fabric under a lighter sheer, rather than with color blocking. It could also be good in a sprinkling of sequins.

Dark Pixie mostly enjoys bright red as a lip color but could also possibly use it in a monochrome look.

Bright red is easy and open ended for PixiePuck and Garden Fairy. Any kind of accessory as a pop of red or garment is natural for her.

Bright red would be tricky for Elf to wear, but possible as a special occasion/holiday gown or jumpsuit in a print.

The bright red trend is a skip for Brownie.

Red leather or leather effect leggings (1 and 2) could be great as part of an outfit for Dark Pixie or PixiePuck.

This short, sheer, ruffled red dress would work for Fae-as-subtype and could be worn with tights for more coverage or found in a longer version that would work as well for Fae-as-subtype among other non-fae subtypes.

Red lace socks would be easy and fun for any of the Fae subtypes that can wear red.

Are you enjoying a Fae style type and wearing this trend? How do you like styling it?
